As a founding Account Executive at Svix, your mission is to drive revenue growth for Svix by generating pipeline, closing deals, and defining a repeatable process. We are looking for talented sales people that are excited about building, and have a lot of hustle.
Joining Svix now is getting the best of both worlds. It’s early enough to make a significant impact on the trajectory of the company, but we already have significant revenue and are used by some of the world’s best companies. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the early sales team of an industry defining company.
Outcome
- You increase the revenue and number of logos using Svix.
- You close both inbound and outbound opportunities.
- You generate a healthy pipeline in a repeatable manner.
- You consistently decrease the time-to-close of opportunities.
- You continuously iterate on our ICP definition helping us focus on the most relevant customers.
- You have a repeatable process and playbook in place that could be used to onboard more reps.
Competencies
- Track record:
- You have worked at early sales organizations with a lean team and evolving sales processes.
- You worked as a successful AE at a later stage company (series B+), over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a closing role.
- Successful history of generating your own pipeline.
- You love sales. You enjoy taking deals from start to close (won)!
- You have successfully done mid-market and enterprise sales, driving process, and managing stakeholders.
- You have successfully utilized a widely recognized sales framework.
- Systematic, responsive, and highly organized: Initially this is a pathfinding individual contributor role and the ideal candidate should be able to help build our overall sales process while succeeding in it.
- A lot of hustle, and a willingness to experiment: part of this role is to figure out a scalable and repeatable sales motion, which requires iterative experimentation and pathfinding.
- You are a team player that is able to collaborate with team members across product, engineering, sales, and marketing.
- You have experience selling to technical stakeholders in the product organization (engineers, product managers, and engineering managers), and driving the conversation to decision makers.
- You have experience selling products that are part of your customers’ product and visible to their customers (e.g. a product like Twilio, Auth0, and Netlify).
