This is a high-ownership “do whatever it takes” role for someone who wants to operate at founder speed, learn the full stack of an insurance/warranty business, and ship work that directly moves revenue, conversion, and retention.

What you’ll do
You’ll work directly with the founders across growth, ops, and product. Your scope will shift frequently based on what’s most important for the business.

  1. Growth (B2B programs + D2C)
    1. Increase usage and sales of existing warranty programs among current merchant users (activation, attach rate, retention)
    2. Run experiments to improve conversion across funnels (merchant onboarding, checkout flows, D2C purchase flow)
    3. Build and iterate lifecycle messaging (email/SMS/in-app), offers, and positioning with tight measurement
    4. Identify and unblock growth bottlenecks with data, customer insight, and fast execution
    5. Operations (claims + program execution)
  2. Product (merchant + customer experience)
    1. Turn ambiguous problems into scoped, shippable product work (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
    2. Partner with engineering/design to ship improvements to merchant tools, claims experiences, and D2C flows
    3. Talk to merchants and customers weekly, synthesize insights, and translate them into product decisions
    4. Use AI-first thinking to reduce manual work and create “agentic” workflows that scale
  3. Improve operational workflows for warranty programs (SOPs, QA, tooling, automation)
    1. Help scale claims operations: triage, adjudication workflows, vendor/repair pathways, reimbursement/replace flows
    2. Build simple dashboards and reporting that make performance obvious (SLAs, approval rates, customer satisfaction)
    3. Coordinate cross-functional projects with clear timelines and owners

What success looks like (first 90 days)

  • You own 2–4 high-impact initiatives end-to-end that measurably improve: attach rate, activation, conversion, claims cycle time, or customer satisfaction
  • You build repeatable operating rhythms (weekly metrics + experiment cadence) for at least one growth area
  • You become a force multiplier for the founders: fewer fires, faster shipping, clearer priorities

Who we’re looking for

  • You’re a high-agency generalist who thrives in ambiguity and moves fast without waiting for perfect clarity
  • You have strong writing and structured thinking (you can turn chaos into a plan and a plan into execution)
  • You’re analytical enough to run experiments and make decisions from data, not vibes
  • You’re comfortable hopping between growth, ops, and product in the same week
  • You communicate crisply and follow through relentlessly

Minimum requirements (Hiring at different levels for the same role - required experience years, expected skill level will vary as per role level)

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-output environment (startup, consulting, product, ops, growth, or founder).
  • Evidence you’ve shipped projects end-to-end with real outcomes (revenue, conversion, retention, process improvements)
  • Comfort working directly with senior stakeholders and taking ownership
  • Familiarity with AI/automation tools and building agentic workflows

Nice to have (not required)

  • Experience working with engineers/designers on product delivery
  • Experience with e-commerce (Shopify, checkout funnels, CRO, lifecycle marketing)
  • Experience with insurance, warranties, fintech, claims, risk, or operations-heavy businesses
