Forwarding & Logistics Business Development Group Leader (SINGAPORE)
(1) Job Description
· New Business Development and Logistic Sales (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehousing) across South East Asia and Australia
· Development in Logistic Business Inventory
· South East Asia and Australia’s overall Sales and operation profit management
· Client management
(2) Role & Responsibility:
· Logistic Sales and Business Development in Air, Ocean, Local Transportation and Warehousing field
· Build a strong Business Development team that can deliver both short-term and long-term result in South East Asia and Australia
· Establish national supply chain strategy to ensure that Samsung SDS grow quickly to become an absolute top tier logistics company in South East Asia and Australia
· Lead a team of freight sales and Cooperate with procurement experts in South East Asia and Australia to drive the team to perform and deliver results
· Work with carriers for Air & Ocean freight to secure competitive price and stable space
· Achieve sales target (Air & Ocean)
· Builds, manages, and leverages internal relationships (i.e. pricing teams, marketing, IT solution, operation, etc) to ensure collaboration and maximize efficiencies and results
(3) REQUIREMENTS:
(a) EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:
· Bachelor’s degree above
Major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent combination of work and education. / equivalent combination of work experience)
· English Advance Level, other language skill is a plus
(b) EXPERIENCE:
· Min. 10 years of sales experience & Min. 3years of direct people management experience in freight forwarding & contract logistics industry
· Prefer work experience in global logistics company

· Business development & Sales
· Air & Ocean freight procurement
· Knowledge about overall logistic business (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehouse)
· Leadership for sales & procurement
· Strong Local transport / Air-industry / Ocean-industry network in South East Asia and Australia
· Able to work under pressure where needed
· MS Office Advance Level
· High-performing Team Building
