As a Backend Microservices Developer at GIMO, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of cutting-edge fintech products. Collaborating closely with our skilled development team, you will:
-Work hand-in-hand with technical leads, frontend and backend engineers, QC specialists, and product owners to craft and deliver exceptional backend microservices tailored to various fintech offerings.
-Take a proactive role in shaping the technical design landscape, including architecture and database structures, to meet the unique demands of our products.
-Embrace and champion engineering best practices encompassing coding standards, database design, security measures, and tools utilization, ensuring an unparalleled level of code quality.
-Influence and mold the team dynamics by consistently offering valuable feedback and innovative ideas, contributing to a thriving and collaborative work environment.
Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, showcasing your solid educational foundation.
- Over 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience working with Java 11+ or other JVM languages, with a strong familiarity in Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
- A holistic understanding of distributed architecture, complemented by prior involvement in microservices development, encompassing both sync and async communication through RESTful APIs and message brokers (e.g., Kafka), as well as cache implementations (e.g., Redis).
- Proficiency in database design and SQL, with exposure to NoSQL databases being an advantageous asset.
- A proven ability to collaborate within a CI/CD pipeline, leveraging tools such as - Docker and K8S to streamline the development process.
- Knowledge and experience within the AWS ecosystem will set you apart, amplifying your potential impact on our projects.
