The Role:
We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager who can manage the strategy and execution of campaigns for user engagement and new user adoption. The Email Marketing team sits under the Product Team for the foreseeable future. In this role you will work closely with the Product, Engineering, and Account Management teams to optimize email content and cadence, contributing to company KPIs. This is an exciting opportunity to support diverse talent in connecting with some of the country’s top companies, including Facebook, the NBA, Morgan Stanley, Pinterest, Bloomberg, Lyft, Pfizer and more. This role is based in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Inform strategy and execution for Jopwell’s email marketing and engagement campaigns, owning the email calendar and driving campaigns to support cross-functional KPIs
- Build out triggered campaigns and automations to support new member onboarding, user engagement and re-engagement, and other high priority CTAs
- Develop copy and partner with Design team to build compelling and effective emails for potential and current users
- Manage email QA & deployment processes to ensure accurate content, design, segmentation, and cross-device rendering
- Drive A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, message content, CTAs, images, timing, and frequency to boost performance on key business metrics
- Create lists for ad hoc communications targeting specific segments of user base
- Leverage user insights and data analysis to maximize relevance, engagement, and conversion of users
- Support Partnerships team on B2B outreach through email marketing review and analysis of email metrics
- Closely monitor email industry trends and emerging technologies
Experience & Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years professional experience
- Experience in an B2C email marketing
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Strong competency in MailChimp, Mandrill, and Google Analytics
- Proficient in HTML/CSS
- Advanced MS Excel
- Enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
