Key tasks and responsibilities
-Responsible for the Creation and Build up of the Category Strategy and in turn, Revenue / seller/category of Lazada.
-Handles Local Category Operators in Lazada Philippines.
-Responsible for Top Sellers of the Category – Develop top sellers. Director personally handle and care for top 5 sellers.
-Responsible for over-all management of Category Operators in Lazada
-Responsible for Over-all Key Defining Strategies of Category Management- -Category Analytics, Campaigns, Seller Tools, Revenues, Assortment, -ATP/Availability, Store Content, Pricing competitiveness, Marketing Deals, Commercial Operations.
-Responsible for seller negotiations by communicating the Key Defining Strategies of Lazada PH.
-Responsible for Day-to-Day communications to Category Operators and sellers to maintain a healthy and long-term business relationships.
-Over-all Skills direction and development of the category.
-Ability to help business partners grow the business to ensure a long-term business relationship.
-Demonstrates product knowledge in relation to the products in his/her category.
-Complete understanding of pricing competitiveness , promotions and new models information of Electronics Category.
-Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with account owners and decision makers. .
-Maximizes all revenue opportunities resulting in market share gain from competitors.
-Offer various solutions that the company can offer for over-all business issues of Top accounts.
-Ensure the frequency and speed of response of in dealing with sellers.
-Responsible for sourcing and developing assortment of current and new accounts for the expansion of revenue in the particular category.
-Participates and contributes to the development of the seller, seller acquisition /category expansion.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
-Minimum 5 years experience in Category Management, Data Analytics
-Preferably with some Digital/ Ecommerce experience
-Excellent Excel, Powerpoint skills
-Excellent written, numerical and Communication Skills
-Ability to do data mining and analyse the same data and translate it into actionable points
-Ability to adapt to a constant changing work environment
-Flexible and willing to adjust to a very fast-paced work environment
