Director of Product Management

We are revolutionizing technical hiring by giving companies a skills-based hiring platform that enables our customers to assess technical skills effectively. We are growing fast and looking to add to our Product team. This position is Full-Time and Remote within the India.

As a Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal part in HackerRank’s mission to “Accelerate the World’s Innovation.” You will lead the product team responsible for the HackerRank for Work platform, used by over 2,800 customers worldwide. You will report to the Chief Product Officer and own the roadmap plan and delivery of all new features to screen and hire technical talent. You will work closely with cross functional leaders in Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to build processes for both collecting product feedback and communicating out releases. You will partner with the engineering team to balance the needs of the business today with the long term success of the platform.

You will be working on:

Own and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for “HackerRank for Work”; This includes product planning, cross-functional launch, building and managing a team Guide your team to collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking progress of in-flight projects Be a customer advocate; Gain deep understanding of their needs through both qualitative and quantitative measures, meeting with customers regularly to present the roadmap and collect feedback Work closely with the customer-facing teams; Constantly evangelize the vision so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand where we are going Ideate improvements that address company objectives; Build business cases, pitch ideas, and gain buy-in from stakeholders Be particular about making data-driven decisions Be tenacious about achieving ambitious goals and help HackerRank scale new heights

We are looking for:

You have experience in Product Management and have lead a major product line in a modern enterprise company with multiple PM reports You have demonstrated an ability to take products from a simple idea to a successful launch You have superior communication skills and stage presence; you can lead by driving consensus across cross-functional stakeholders You have strong design and UX skills You are willing to work across geographies - your team will include people located in both India and the US
