Position Overview
We're looking for a Director of Product Design to lead and grow our product design and research efforts within our Product team. You will partner with leaders in Product and Engineering to scope, design, and launch the initiatives, products, and guidelines that shape the function, usability, and accessibility of Treasury Prime's product suite.
Your key responsibility will be to manage our product design team's growth, planning, and mentorship while working to support the organization's key strategic efforts. You'll be expected to lead by example, with a willingness to dive into the weeds on projects and research alongside your direct reports.

You will:
- Provide strong leadership to the product design team, growing the team's expertise, output, and culture
- Provide in-the-weeds guidance, strategy, and execution for all product design and user research work at Treasury Prime
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, critique, and growth within the design team and across all interactions within the org
- Champion strategic design at Treasury Prime and provide a design vision for the entire team to inform product and marketing plans
- Communicate design strategy, needs, and process clearly with team leaders, and turn feedback into clear, actionable plans for your team
- Establish a deep understanding of Treasury Prime's business, strategy, customers, product ecosystem, and competitive alignment
- Create beautiful, unified design patterns across our product suite
- Maintain an ever-rising high bar for the level of execution on all design at Treasury Prime, always sweating the details
- Partner closely with other teams within Treasury Prime, building a broader culture of design and concern for our users across the entire organization
You may be a good fit for this role if you have:
- 6+ years of product and/or brand design experience
- 2+ years managing and building design teams
- Relevant expertise in UX or product design
- Experience in the FinTech or SaaS space
- Startup experience and comfortable leading breadth of different projects
- Ability to distill complex needs of financial or enterprise customers into simple, executable designs
- Exacting design standards and abiding attention to detail
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and planning skills
- Led the design and execution of immersive web experiences
- Led the design and creation of cross-platform design systems
- Collaborate with marketing and brand design to create seamless customer experiences
- Led the successful creation, rollout, and maintenance design systems and accessibility guidelines
- Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic environment and effectively collaborate across teams
- Excitement to do the hard work to design a banking system that works for everyone
