Today, Legacy is the category leader, working with major insurers, major employers, and the military, in addition to its D2C offering.

What do we do?

We are building a complete digital health hub for future parents. We aim to change the outdated view that fertility is a "women's issue" by creating an accessible, affordable product for men. This includes everything from a mail-in kit for sperm testing & sperm freezing, personalized sperm improvement products, tele-health, DNA fragmentation analysis, supplements, and more.

Job Description:

As our Director, Finance, you will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) as well as strategic finance to enable visibility into performance, provide actionable insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization and at the leadership/board level.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and building out Legacy’s core FP&A and strategic finance capabilities, including the processes and tools employed day-to-day. Given we’re a small company (~35 people), this will initially be a senior individual contributor role but we’re looking for someone that can set the overarching direction for and oversee the FP&A / strategic finance team long term as we scale.

Responsibilities:

Lead all budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning

Establish frameworks for, lead development and presentation of strategic financial analysis to enable data-driven decision-making at all company levels

Recommend actionable and measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) based on insights that will ultimately drive stronger business performance 

Build financial reports and analyses for functional leaders, and the company’s board of directors

Implement processes and tools to improve the quality and speed of Legacy’s financial reporting, forecasting and analysis

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

Has >5 years of FP&A, strategic finance and/or investment banking experience

Prior experience at an early stage company, preferably in healthcare

Experience implementing financial planning software

A team player that can wear many hats and operate in a fast-paced environment

Someone that’s able to synthesize strategic insights from financial analysis and communicate clearly with stakeholders that don’t come from a finance background
