Dedicated to solving difficult problems with huge impact, our first step is to automate circuit board design.

The ideal candidate would be a Developer Evangelist (level fluid) eager to be part of a growing team, shaping the future of electronics. As a Developer Evangelist, you would be using our tool to develop compelling designs featured in social media and marketing content, as well as advising the development team on how to best improve the tool. Your goal would be to bring new users up to speed in onboarding as quickly as possible, guiding them through the newest features, and ideas of how to leverage JITX in building their most useful design.

Candidates should have experience writing technical communication conveying complex information most often used in hardware or software architecture, programming languages, engineering, robotics, or electronics. Examples such as Technical Blog articles, Proposal Writing, Scientific Papers, Publications, User Manuals, Assistance Guides, Tutorial Documents, Technical Reviews, and Reports.

This Developer Evangelist will be a hybrid role of evangelizing the product, customer success, and inside sales efforts, while also having a strong technical writing ability.

Job Responsibilities

• Evangelist Research: Build Hardware Projects using JITX, dogfooding our newest features, promoting features via outbound content and social media, and navigating issues or bugs with the development team.
• Blog & Video Posts: Contribute to weekly blog or video posts or articles that speak to expert Hardware Engineers, using the JITX product to solve circuit board design problems.
• Customer Facing Demos: Build demos for prospective customers, showcasing JITX in ways that are relevant to their workflow and daily challenges.
• Software Development: Useful coding skills to build customer facing demos and to help the team in bug discovery and resolution.
• Tutorial Curation: Help new users get up to speed quickly by writing and recording JITX tutorials.
• Customer Success: Customer interaction with empathy and earnestness to gain further business. Troubleshoot where needed, help navigate JITX, and showcase how JITX can further solve design challenges.
• Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with engineers, leaders, and the stakeholders to prioritize the roadmap. Spotlight new features via social media, blogs, articles, or partnership opportunities.
• Content Writing: Draft scripts for video content, podcasts, and other avenues to market JITX software product features.
• Visual Appeal: Create videos, diagrams, screenshots, drawings, and other visual media of the JITX product.

POST-COVID WORK PLAN

This role will need to be local within the California Bay Area. JITX will continue to be flexible in the Post- Covid Work Plan but this role will be asked to join certain team members on a hybrid basis in a San Jose Office or our Berkeley office.
