Athina is building an IDE to enable the development of AI-powered products.
We are on a mission to build a new stack for AI teams. This means defining how teams will prototype, experiment, train, evaluate and monitor GenAI products.
The next decade will enable AI-powered products and features that are radically different from the software we have been building until now.
This is an open-domain unsolved problem, and we’re looking for tinkerers, hackers, and creatives who want to build the toolkit for the next decade of software.
Minimum requirements:
- 3+ years experience working as a Developer Advocate, Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, or technical Product Manager/Marketer
- Working knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, and data science
- Technical experience with the LLM app development stack (e.g. agents, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, evaluation libraries) with proficiency in Python
- Engaged in technical communities via GitHub, Medium, DZone, Stack Overflow, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written content (Medium, Dev.to, Substack etc.)
- This is an in-person role. You should be based or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
What you’ll do:
- Generate awareness through engaging technical content that educates AI developers, including Colab notebooks, blogs, eBooks, product documentation, workshops, and demos.
- Represent the perspective of developers and AI teams within Athina’s user base and the broader AI developer community.
- Act as an evangelist for Athina’s core SaaS offerings, translating market insights and developer feedback into actionable guidance for the product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop best practices and innovative approaches for troubleshooting and enhancing production ML models and LLM-powered applications.
- Organize, present and attend AI events and industry conferences.
- Regularly have chats with industry experts, researchers, and ethicists across the ecosystem to advance the use of responsible AI
Ideal requirements:
- A proven capability to produce high-quality code, documentation, and instructional content that empowers developers to effectively utilize technical products.
- A track record of developing documentation, instructional content, and code that enables developers to achieve success with technical products.
- Creativity and passion for exploring new ways to connect with and empower developers
- Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines
What we look for
- We're a small team, looking for someone who can tackle complex problems end-to-end.
- Speed is our religion. High speed execution is a non-negotiable requirement.
- A very high-level of commitment: We require a strong work ethic, and in return we promise you the same.
