Job Description
You will be required to use marketing, analytical and sales data of the company to effectively forecast the product demands. You will be responsible for planning inventory flows, analyzing the statistical data and accordingly generate forecasting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Help drive overall management and execution of Strategic Supply Chain Projects.
- Generate valuable insights out of forecasts
- Understand the data, trend, and seasonality to improve the existing forecasting processes.
- Evolution from Time series to machine learning (change management)
- Develop and deploy state of-the-art forecasting methods using statistical and machine learning tools in a cloud- based environment.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create the best framework and reduce forecast variability
- Drive continued and sustained accuracy improvements on demand plans.
- Identify opportunity areas and recommend efficiencies at work including process simplification, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor/master’s degree in business management, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Data Science
- Knowledge and experience in advanced forecasting using machine learning and statistical models. Predictive Analytics is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, independent thinking
- Expertise in analytical tools and coding languages required such as Python, R, SQL, PowerBI
- Team player with an ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Effective collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- High integrity and work ethic.
