R2 enables platforms in Latin America to embed financial services that SMBs can then leverage (starting with revenue-based financing and buy now pay later for business customers). As a Data DevOps, you will be focused on improving communication and automation of how data flows between different teams and data managers in the organization, developing data pipelines to ensure quick delivery, security, and data consistency.
What you’ll work on
- Work together with the DevOps Team, ensuring the continuity of databases, data processing tools, and different pipelines.
- Support the data team in the maintenance, configuration, and setup of the different applications needed for data processing and storage.
- Continuously improve different data flow to reduce delays and improve data reliability.
- Implement monitoring and error detection processes in our data pipelines.
Who you are
- You have at least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- You have a strong understanding of RDS, Redshift
- You have a strong understanding of AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, and Airflow (at least one of them)
- You have a strong understanding of AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3)
- You have a strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals
- You have basic programming skills (Python, Golang, or NodeJs)
- You understand GIT
- You understand Kubernetes
