Customer Happiness Associate

Short Story is the premiere personal styling service for petite women 5’4” or under. We’re a fast growing startup on a mission to reinvent apparel retail for petite women, because they deserve a radically new shopping experience. We believe that one size does not fit all, and we’re passionate about helping women find their perfect fit and their unique personal style. Our dream is to build the best petite community in the world where petite women are heard, supported, and empowered in their everyday lives.

We’re hiring a Customer Happiness Associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has an outsized interest in startups, e-commerce, and tech. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a smooth, delightful experience by managing support channels, internal communication, and more. The ability to work cross-functionally to drive results is a must.

Day to Day

You will be responsible for responding to and managing customer service inquiries in our various channels. You will identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and make recommendations to the leadership team

User Interviews. You and the CS team will facilitate regular interviews with users to collect feedback and insights to better serve our audience.

CS Operations. Complete ongoing clerical, administrative, and routine tasks to keep our day to day customer service operations running smoothly.

Data Analytics. We track our performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly cadence. You will be assisting with collection of data and explaining the “why” of what happens.

Qualifications

Strong service background. Well versed in email clients and communication

Must have high interest in e-commerce, consumer brands, and emerging technologies.

Entrepreneurial mindset. You must be comfortable working on a small team where your ideas and efforts will have direct application.

Previous experience working in e-commerce or a tech startup is a plus
