About The Role And The Team

In this role you are going to be one of the key players in our operation. We have a talented and growing team already in place that you will be scaling rapidly. The team needs a proven leader, hungry to scale our team and sales. You are going to own the commercial strategy and build out our sales function in order to reiterate and expand Awari's traction. Our perfect candidate is able to quickly assimilate the market landscape and leverage for competitive advantage and is able to design a structure and process from scratch. You are responsible for the overall revenue and performance for the Brazilian market, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely together with the leadership team.

You will be doing:

  • Report directly to the CEO
  • Manage multiple local teams of Account Executives to exceed team revenue quota
  • Scale our Sales Organisation by hiring in step with ambitious growth objectives
  • Own strategy and execution of GTM, including Demand Generation initiatives
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and productivity across multiple departments
  • Identify opportunities and trends to capitalise within a competitive, growing market for Education Solutions in Latin America
  • Reporting accurately and insightfully on monthly and quarterly cycles
  • Driving Sales Enablement initiatives in line with evolving objectives and opportunities
  • Promote and nurture the Awari culture

Job Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of Sales Management experience in a B2C environment
  • Experience hiring across multiple roles
  • Proven ability to harness data in reporting, decision making and performance management
  • Track record of future-proofing organisations, by cultivating future managers/team leads
  • Strong training and coaching competency
  • Passion for key deal strategy and support
  • Experience building and executing sales teams in education companies is a huge plus
  • Experience with international expansion in an agile environment and growth of subscription-based companies is a strong plus
