Content Strategist

JOB BRIEF 

• Working with the strategy team, this position requires you to have a good understanding of our client's business goals and the audience’s interest so that you can plan, develop and deliver content that would meet specific social KPIs. 
• You are able to leverage data insights to strategize for lead generation, recommend social media post formats for engagement and link clicks, and develop an overall creative strategy for big-bang campaigns. Preferably, you will also have client management skills. 
• This role will be more strategy-focused, but a certain amount of writing will still be required from the candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely postings 
• Determine the appropriate social channels to be used for communication strategy Collaborate with the Account Services, Design, and Digital Marketing teams to craft content strategy and campaign planning for brand development 
• Assign and review content from writers 
• Follow industry-related news and trending topics 
• Generate spin-off ideas from trending topics Be quick to grab “hot topic” opportunities
