Position Overview

  • We’re looking for an experienced content marketer to lead and develop compelling content that appeals to our target audience - financial services firms across the lending value chain including banks, debt buyers and collection agencies.  You’ll play an instrumental role of shaping our content strategy and executing the plan. You’ll be an essential part of a tight-knit integrated marketing team. You must love researching, writing, editing and amplifying stories. The right person will write clear, concise original B2B copy as well as develop top quality long-form marketing content. You’ll also have a data-driven mindset to help connect the content strategy to business results. You’ll plan a key role in elevating our content marketing program. This role reports to our Head of Marketing. 

What will you be doing?

  • Own and lead our content marketing strategy; building, executing and refining it
  • Develop a master content plan; own the editorial calendar; create it, manage it, and make sure it supports our company and marketing objectives
  • Generate ideas, write, and edit high quality thought-provoking B2B content (short-form, mid-length and long-form) and work with cross-functional teams to amplify the value of our solutions and offerings
  • Ensure all content is original, well-researched, fact-checked, and has strategic alignment
  • Deliver a consistent brand experience and tone across all content, always applying best practices
  • Leverage SEO best practices to ensure our content can be easily found by our target audience
  • Manage our Content Repository to ensure it is up-to-date Report out content performance so we know what’s working, what’s not working, and what we need to change

Who are you?

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, and have written B2B content (fintech industry experience a plus)
  • Able to coordinate across many teams and perform in a fast-moving start-up environment
  • Self-starter who embraces autonomy but thrives in a team   Master storyteller with the ability to explain and translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive communications
  • Take pride in ownership of your work and it shows
  • A high sense of urgency and organization while managing multiple projects 
  • Use data to measure results and inform decision-making
