The Role
Consumer Services Team works to improve the company’s market position in this segment and achieve revenue growth in a sustainable way.
This position will partner closely with our Consumer Services Manager to identify long-term company strategic objectives, builds key partner relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and trends.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
· Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
· Generate leads and cold calls to a potential partner(s)
· Meet with a partner(s) face to face or over the phone
· Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve in this segment
· Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
· Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them
· Ensure staff are on board throughout the company and understand fully how to execute at the store level
· Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
· Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
· Liaise with the finance, IT, and legal departments as appropriate
· Seek ways of improving the way we operate
· Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
About You
· Structured and analytical
· Numeric and possess a commercial sense
· Good communications skills (written and spoken)
· Positive working attitude and solutions-driven
· Able to work well with all departments internally and externally
· Possess Tertiary Education preferably in Business related
· With at least 3 years of working experience
