An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated business development professional with an entrepreneurial ‘hunter’ spirit to work with a very exciting cryptocurrency project.  It is important to be well familiar with the industry and exeriense in it.

You will be responsible for driving outbound lead generation campaigns, dealing with inbound enquiries and nurturing mutually beneficial partnership opportunities. The successful candidate will need to be highly confident speaking to potential clients and partners, show high emotional intelligence and possess great people skills. This is a hands-on role, though they will also be managing internal and external resources in support of their role.

The New Commercial Director will work with our industry community, sales, and ecosystems alike, with the goal of establishing mutually beneficial relationships.

You’ll work closely with the Founder to execute a growth strategy that delivers on our revenue targets through obtaining new business and partnership referrals. Liaising with decision-makers and senior leaders at other organizations, you’ll be highly sociable, confident, and a commercially-minded communicator. You’ll also need determination and great organizational skills to open doors with new partners and keep those doors open.

You will have knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes and understand the importance of managing and nurturing leads through a sales funnel.

As this function matures there will be opportunities for further advancement by leading a larger team and actively shape an company undertaking significant growth including ambitions to internationalise. Someone who is self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative is therefore essential.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing commercial strategies to meet company objectives and business goals

Maximize opportunities for generating revenue, profit, and sustainable growth

Conducting market research 

Monitoring sales performance

Building relations with clients 

Investigating business development opportunities/commercial opportunities

Preparing promotional and educational materials about product

Acting as an official representative and represent the company in all sources and media

Maintaining a creative strategist and entrepreneurial mindset

Create detailed business plans

Leveraging great leadership skills and outstanding communication

Manage client relationships

Performance reporting

Building profitable partnerships

Maintain profitable partnerships

Reviewing the sales process

Reporting to upper management and key stakeholders/prepare reports

Ensuring customer satisfaction

The ideal candidate will need the following:

A high level of written English and attention to detail

Previous experience in cryptocurrency and business development/commercial role

Must be hardworking and be able to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised

Motivated, proactive and enthusiastic

Professional in presentation and bloggigng

A passion for helping businesses to succeed and grow

High emotional intelligence

High social skills

‘Hunter’ mindset

Anticipated - the appropriate candidate will have circa 5+ years sales experience

Knowledge understanding and track record within Digital Marketing
