What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience operating a CNC router/mill in a production environment

  • Proficiency in setting up CAM operations and G Code programming

  • Basic understanding of 3d CAD modeling

  • Professional background in one of the following fields: construction, woodworking, manufacturing, production building and/or engineering

  • Experience in manufacturing shop management including:

  • Developing and implementing safety standards, systems and training

  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing-based inventory systems

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Strong problem-solving and mathematical abilities

  • Comfortable with change and, at times, uncertainty; highly adaptable and flexible

  • Comfortable with both receiving and providing direction when switching between workflows

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals from multi-disciplinary teams

  • A willingness to have difficult conversations, with a commitment to conscious and empathetic communication

  • A sense of ownership toward your work without ego – working to achieve common goals

Great to have:

  • Experience assembling and fabricating in the Construction Trade

  • Technical certification, an associate degree or prior apprenticeship related to CNC machine operations, machine technology or a related field

  • In-depth experience in the building or construction industries
