We are seeking a Business Product Manager to own and define the platform experiences and pipeline for Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with Product teams, key stakeholders, and leadership teams, to optimize for the key success metrics to drive business excellence and growth in your home market.
With a keen eye for opportunities balanced with a knack for prioritization, the business product manager should be able to synthesize multiple perspectives to find synergies and advocate for the key priorities to pursue and drive the greatest impact within your home market. As the voice of the local market, you would constantly be on the lookout for opportunities and gaps to pursue, generating buy-in and excitement in the organization as a key opinion leader and expert of the local user base of customers, designers, and other stakeholders.
As the voice of the local market you will:
- You will be the owner of the Singapore product pipeline, working closely with business stakeholders & leadership, end-users, and functional product managers to clearly define and prioritize key impact experiences and initiatives.
- You will work closely with user-researchers to have a deep understanding of the local user-base and market, through maintaining feedback loops and keeping abreast with industry trends and market developments - and transmitting those key insights as a key opinion leader to the rest of the organization.
- You will get the opportunity to work across multiple expansionary and product line growth initiatives, with exposure to sharing and learning from meaningful insights gleaned across cross-border markets as part of a global knowledge pool.
- You will co-own the adoption, success, and product metrics for your respective country, and be given the freedom and autonomy to make decisions on the best strategy and tactics, to improve and optimize for success, to drive business impact.
- You will also be involved in the creation of communication assets (documents/videos/guides), which will be used by both internal and external stakeholders, in tangible ways.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a consultant, analyst, or product role in e-commerce, platforms, SaaS industries, or the equivalent.
- Experience in independently managing software projects, and liaising across multiple stakeholders to drive alignment for scoping and timeline considerations
- Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.
- Experience using and communicating with standard chat apps and productivity tools - Mattermost/Slack/Google Chats & Google Suite
- Establish an effective working relationship with users, customers, and team members
- (Good-to-have) Experience managing stakeholder relationships for either internal or external clients and partners, for software and/or business-related projects.
- (Good-to-have) Experience working in a high scale/rapidly growing startup or professional environment, across a dynamically changing business landscape
