Business Operations Analyst 

Lob is building a suite of APIs to simplify and automate enterprise workflows that connect the online and offline worlds. Our most popular product is our Print & Mail API that enables companies to send physical mail as effortlessly as sending emails. With a quickly growing customer base and dynamic product offerings, Lob is looking for talented individuals to join our team and shape the future of our company.

Our goal at Lob is to surface complex real-world infrastructure to businesses of all sizes via modern technology. Lob’s Partner Org owns and operates the supply side of the business, which must work seamlessly with this modern tooling to support key value props such as speed, scale, quality, and transparency. We are looking for strategic thinkers who are ready to roll their sleeves up, understand the intricacies of our data pipeline & supply chain, and apply their insights to optimize our fulfillment engine. The team implements rigorous operations management principles to derive and manage metrics like quality, speed, deliverability, and cost, all in service of delivering a world-class experience for Lob’s customers.

This role requires a unique mix of business operations, analytical, and interpersonal skills. You will support key cross functional processes that will directly influence the network and business profitability and efficacy. We are looking for a detail oriented operations professional with a solid analytical backbone. This role and the roles you will support are critical to building and operating a scalable and sustainable supply-side infrastructure at Lob.

As the Business Operations Analyst, you’ll…

• Conduct in-depth data analysis of print delivery network performance and develop deep understanding of value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
• Support the delivery of key cross functional printer network processes - routing, financial and margin analysis, and capacity planning
• Build and manage financial/operational tools and reporting to monitor network performance and analyze key business drivers such as costing and margins
• Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners and leadership)
• Develop a deep understanding of supply side partners and Lob technology

What will you bring to this role…

• 3+ years of professional experience with at least 2+ years in a quantitative role
• Excel (can perform complex functions and modeling) and SQL knowledge
• Strong analytical skills - ability to work with raw data, formulate hypotheses, test them and draw insights
• Strong communication skills, confident speaking to internal and external stakeholders across all levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team-player
• Ability to grasp new business concepts quickly and desire to develop industry expertise
• Looker and experience using Business Intelligence tools is preferred
  Business operations and supply chain experience is preferred

Additional Information: *Colorado only - salary $80,750.00 - $97,750.00 offer includes benefits, equity, 401K

Additional Information: *New York only - salary $90,250.00 - $109,250.00 offer includes benefits, equity, 401K
