Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Speedy Brand, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and build relationships with SMBs in the North American market. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, possesses strong communication skills, and has a proven track record in lead generation within the SMB space. Experience working in early-stage startups is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify potential SMB customers who can benefit from Speedy Brand's generative-AI powered marketing content.
- Reach out to SMB prospects via email, phone, social media, and other channels to introduce Speedy Brand's solutions and generate interest.
- Qualify leads by understanding their marketing needs, budget, and potential fit with Speedy Brand's offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling messaging and sales collateral to support lead generation efforts.
- Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings and demos with qualified prospects, ensuring smooth handoff to Account Executives.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage lead generation activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to the sales team and management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with lead generation in the North American SMB space, preferably within the marketing or technology industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets and driving sales pipeline growth.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of Speedy Brand's solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage prospects and establish rapport.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and proficiency in managing and organizing leads and customer data.
- Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
