We are looking for the first Business Development Representative to help us build out our Sales team. As the first sales hire on our team, you'll get to work with the founders to build the outbound GTM engine from the ground up. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and be curious about data, infrastructure, and enterprise software.
⚡️ Responsibilities
- Generate awareness and interest for Prequel through emails and social outreach to prospective customers.
- Schedule initial discovery calls for founders.
- Manage your book of accounts and set the strategy for effective book management.
- Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the BDR role.
- Collaborate with team members and founders to share and learn from best practices.
🛠 Experience
- 6 months to 3 years of previous experience as an SDR, BDR, or other CS role, with a preference for enterprise sales.
- Strong prospecting, qualifying, and sales presence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of resilience, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We're a startup – we're rapidly learning and evolving our product and messaging.
💰 Compensation
- $65K - $80K base
- $20K - $25K variable
