About Factored Quality:

At Factored, we're building one of the last missing pieces of modern commerce infrastructure: a platform for consumer brands to manage their quality control inspections.

Factored was started by a team of software engineers, data scientists, and supply chain managers - all focused on one goal: enable entrepreneurs to bring their products to market faster, simpler, and cheaper. We worry about managing brands’ quality control so they don't have to. We aim to redefine how quality control is managed, and need strong engineers to make it happen.

At FQ, you’ll support every aspect of the business, developing a holistic understanding of our customers and product. We're looking for people who are passionate about creating the future of commerce enablement and building the tools needed to help people quit their day jobs to start new e-commerce businesses.

Our team is composed of 12 folks across our US and Hong Kong offices. We've raised more than $7.1 Million to date from an incredible team of investors and operators like Amity Ventures, Dynamo Ventures, Vinyl VC and Y-Combinator.

What we’re looking for:

Factored Quality is searching for our very first Business Development Representative to join the team. Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Wants to help design and build the outbound sales motion.
• Thrives in a fast growing/ start-up environment.
• Experience supporting a sales team to drive continued growth.
• Outbound software sales experience.
• Highly motivated to succeed and grow both individually and alongside our company.
• Strong work ethic with the confidence to work autonomously.
• Naturally curious; you love learning, improving yourself, and are eager to contribute your ideas.
• Excellent organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience with CRMs like HubSpot
• Experience working closely with the Account Executive team, using a combination of phone, email and social media tools to identify, contact and organize initial calls with decision makers from some of the world’s biggest brands.

The Job:

We’re looking to bring on our very first Business Development Representative to help Factored Quality navigate it’s next stage of growth.

Core categories of responsibilities for this role will be to serve as point for:

• Be an owner within the sales team and continuously look for ways to improve our outbound practices
• Proactively search for and reach out to decision makers through a combination of phone, email and social media based methods.
• Generate and coordinate new meetings for the Account Executive team.
• Maintain an accurate close list and follow up consistently.
• Develop strong product knowledge and look to learn from product, sales and tech teams.
• Maintain accurate information in our CRM.

Working Hours:

Factored Quality is headquartered in NYC and operates primarily by 9am -5pm EST standard hours.

• For roles being hired for in the Americas, or Europe:

  The expectation is you maintain 4-5 hours over overlap between 9am -5pm EST (as examples: if Europe based, you may work the equivalent of 7am - 2pm EST or if US West Coast based, you may work the equivalent 12pm - 8pm EST).

• For roles being hired for in Asia:

  The expectation is you maintain primary overlap with our HK based team (GMT +8), and occasionally maintain flexibility to coordinate with teams based in the US or in Europe

Because our team is global however, there are meetings that are occasionally meetings scheduled outside of traditional 9am -5pm EST working hours. That being said, we trust all team members to manage their schedules and to take appropriate measures to take care of themselves and their wellbeing.
