HireArt is looking for compassionate competitors who are curious, engaging, and eager to learn the tech sales landscape and contribute to the success of their team. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be one of the first members of a new team within our sales organization, poised with the goal of generating a new revenue stream.

About the Role

The role of Business Development Representative (BDR) at HireArt is of utmost importance: identifying opportunities for HireArt to partner with new clients. BDR’s are the first impression most clients will have of HireArt, so attention to detail, professionalism, and a great attitude are all extremely important.

You’ll be reaching out to leaders and directors in HR, Procurement, Finance, Operations and beyond, gaining insight into their needs, and sparking their curiosity to set meetings. Along the way, you’ll learn the ins and outs of every stage of the sales cycle and learn the industry while sitting in on sales calls with HireArt sales leaders.

  • Training on phone skills, email response handling, objection handling, qualifying, and persona based messaging

  • Actively work with the team to identify sales opportunities with clients and reach goals
  • Utilize phone call and email outreach to connect with potential new customers
  • Understand potential customers’ technology and human capital use through engaging conversation and highlight how using HireArt can positively impact their business
  • Be inquisitive. Gather information on customers’ goals, challenges, and expectations
  • Communicate scheduled meeting details accurately and effectively to both management and clients
  • Take detailed notes during meetings and share with sales management
  • Use Salesforce to document notes from calls, outcomes, and ensure potential sales opportunities meet criteria
  • Meet established individual and group goals
  • Bring your best thinking to support our team goals and build your professional skills

Requirements

  • Passionate about developing a career in sales
  • Previous B2B sales outreach experience, ideally 6+ months
    • Solution sales experience is a plus
    • Sales bootcamp or internship experience is ok as long as it involves B2B sales outreach
  • Methodical approach to following processes
  • Endless curiosity geared toward finding out what works and applying insights and learnings
  • Self-motivated to learn and meet objectives
  • Eager to contribute to the team’s success
  • High level of perseverance
  • Comfortable with ambiguity

Compensation: We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is made up of a target base salary of $50,000, incentive compensation (OTE $80,000), equity, and a full benefits package that includes:

This is a remote, full-time, permanent position with HireArt and is open to candidates who reside and are authorized to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer sponsorships or do corp-to-corp.
