Position Overview:
Cityfurnish.com is seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Business Development Manager to spearhead the establishment and growth of our B2B department.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of the coliving, coworking, service apartment, and related sectors.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work autonomously, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the coliving, coworking, service apartment, and related sectors.
Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential B2B clients, including coliving operators, coworking spaces, serviced apartment providers, and other relevant businesses.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
Sales and Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential threats.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for B2B initiatives.
Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor progress against sales targets and other objectives.
Team Building: As the B2B department grows, recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of business development professionals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in B2B business development, with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Deep understanding of the coliving, coworking, service apartment, and related sectors, with a strong network of contacts within these industries.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive results independently.
Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth company is highly desirable.
