We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join the growth team as a Business Development Lead, responsible for acquiring new customer opportunities classified as enterprise prospects through Feather’s inbound channels, as well as developing an outbound sales strategy based on the success of these accounts. You will lay the foundation of the sales effort through prospecting and nurturing large accounts engaging from the early stages of the sales funnel to closing the deal. This position will be reporting to the Director of Growth.

About this job: The Business Development Lead is passionate about forming and driving successful client relationships and successfully interacting with senior and executive-level clients. In this full-cycle sales role, you will generate leads, engage prospects, negotiate terms, and close business.

What you’ll be doing: Manage the end-to-end sales process; bringing Feather’s subject matter experts into the sales cycle where needed Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast by managing our strong inbound network, as well as through prospecting, discovery calls, and meetings Target industries include: Property Developers / Property Management Groups Short Term Rental Companies (Airbnb, Anyspace, etc.) Stagers and Real Estate Agents Commercial Spaces Interior Design Work cross-collaboratively with merchandising, logistics, finance, and account management to structure and quote deals. Responsible for leading and coordinating efforts to determine to price and deliver proposals to prospects Proactively manages clients and their projects with empathy as the primary contact Researches industry and related events, publications, and announcements

Connects with and believes in Feather's Mission to transform people's relationship with material goods to create a healthier and happier planet. Minimum of five years of business development and direct sales experience. Experience in B2B, consultative sales Strong business acumen and comfort with presenting to, and establishing relationships with, senior-level executives in enterprise-level companies Track record of exceeding sales targets Be a creative and structured negotiator An authentic approach to internal and external relationships A background in closing multi-faceted business deals
