What you’ll do
As a Business Development Intern at Strac, you’ll work directly with our founding team, driving growth by identifying and engaging potential customers. This is a remote-first paid internship that will run from August - December. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and an interest in sales. As the BD Intern, you will gain hands-on experience, contribute to accelerating our growth, and have the opportunity to grow alongside a team of ex-Amazonians.
Who you are
- Work closely with the founding team to reach out to prospects.
- Engage with prospects through email, social media, and phone calls.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and aligning them with Strac solutions.
- Foster relationships with prospects to drive interest and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to develop effective strategies for lead conversion and opportunity progression.
- Participate in sales meetings, team huddles, and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales and a desire to develop a career in sales or business development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
