About the role
As a Business Development and Partnerships Manager, you will qualify strategic selling and partnership opportunities with our ideal customers. You will work alongside the CEO and co-founders to come up with a go-to-market strategy and execute on a sales process to source new deals and partnerships.
This role requires exceptional communication, networking skills, and being proactive/aggressive about finding new opportunities. You will be identifying potential customers and users of the LiquiFi product, as well as potential integrations where it makes sense.
About LiquiFi
LiquiFi is building token vesting and equity solutions for Web3 companies ("Carta for crypto"). Tokens are the next generation of equity ownership in an exponentially growing market, and every company and DAO will need a solution to manage their tokens.
CEO Robin Ji and CTO Oliver Tang both come from crypto companies (Eco and Set Protocol), and have personally experienced the pain-point of managing token vesting. Prior to crypto, they both have experience scaling products and teams at companies like Amazon, Adobe, LinkedIn, Salesforce, and Twitch.
LiquiFi is backed by leading investors including Dragonfly Capital, Nascent, DeFi Alliance, Robot Ventures, 6th Man Ventures, Y Combinator, Balaji, Katie Haun, Packy McCormick, Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano, and other strategic angels and operators from leading DeFi protocols and crypto companies.
Job Description
Role/Responsibilities
- Source new business and partnerships opportunities: You will identify and present new and exciting strategic account and partnership opportunities based on your own network, research, and other sourcing activities.
- Manage internal and external relationships across sales, product, marketing and stakeholders of the business such as customers, vendors, ecosystem partners, service providers, etc.
- Create and execute on a go-to-market strategy alongside the founders
- Execute on partnerships and integrations with other crypto projects and organizations
About you
- 3+ years experience in partnerships or business development
- Understanding of crypto and web3 projects, companies, and culture (DeFi, Gaming, DAOs, launchpads, investors, etc.)
- Proven track record in generating new business and driving business results
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional relationship building ability with strong attention to detail to help the team cultivate partnerships
- Enthusiasm to tackle a wide range of ambiguous problems using creativity, data, and business acumen
