ABOUT SWAYABLE
Swayable is a fast-growing, cloud data product that predicts public opinion and the impact of messages and advertising content on it. It is a 20-person team backed by top technology and social impact investors, including Y Combinator. Founded in 2018 by two physics PhDs, it is led by the former Executive Director for Digital Strategy at the New York Times. The founders have had two successful exits already including one multi-billion dollar IPO. Clients include major consumer-facing brands (Amazon, Airbnb, Square, Paramount Pictures), researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford) and mission-aligned advocacy campaigns (including multiple Democratic Presidential candidates).
ABOUT THE ROLE
Swayable is looking for a Sales Lead / Account Executive to help us build on our early successes in key customer categories to create a fast-scaling sales operation. As a startup, some broader SDR and client operations responsibilities will be part of the role.
Working at first as a partner to the CEO and existing customer operations team to learn the ropes and the product, the goal is to help us learn how to sell the product better, set up an effective process for sourcing and acting on leads, and as we continue to grow, either help hire and manage or work alongside a growing team of other account execs.
This position reports to the VP of Revenue, Al Torres. During COVID lockdown obviously it will be remote, and the ideal longer-term location is NYC (closest to our most valuable sales prospects).
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience selling, so you can set up a process that works.
Must be great at establishing a good process.
Ideally have worked at a startup.
Ideally have sales experience in the marketing & research technology industry - e.g. Kantar/Nielsen/Qualtrics, or a survey or metrics company.
Must be comfortable structuring and managing your own work.
