AMILI is seeking a Data Scientist based in Malaysia as we continue on our growth journey across Southeast Asia.
The Biomedical Data Analyst will be AMILI's lead champion towards data research, data acquisition to data management, and availability.
A typical day for the successful candidate is:
- 75% Building AMILI Data Catalog
- Build Data & Research Catalog for Microbiome
- Build Data & Research Catalog for Drugs and Antibiotics
- Build Data & Research Catalog for Food and Nutrition
- Build Data & Research Catalog for Disease conditions
- Maintain Product Catalog data warehouse procedures and workflow processes
- ·
- 25% Data Standardizations
- Authority to approve data standardizations projects and provide the client deliverable to submitting business unit
- Responsibilities for more advanced projects and custom client reports (e.g., ability to create custom and complex queries of our enterprise and inventory data, repackage our data in different ways to provide deliverables)
- Ability to write queries and macros (Access, Excel, or Power BI) to provide data analytics reports and trend analyzes
- Meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, interact with different departments, and work independently
- As a champion in a highly collaborative start-up, having the can-do attitude and willingness to find solutions head-on & challenging themselves as new tasks or special initiatives arise
Are you the ideal candidate?
- We are looking for a candidate that has 2+ years experience in healthcare or related field and has the following skills:
- Experience accurately managing data, including data collection, synthesis, and analysis.
- Maintaining and organizing accurate data from multiple sources.
- Exhibiting good time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines and ensure successful and timely completion.
- Ability to manage projects and provide feedback to the manager and team members.
- Working both independently and collaboratively within and beyond the Data Science Team via effective written and oral communication skills.
