What We’re Looking For
Ivella is looking for a talented software engineer to help lead our backend development. We’re a small, but ambitious team with lofty goals to reshape how couples think about their finances. We’re looking for an individual who isn’t intimidated by ambiguity, likes solving hard problems, and wants to take ownership in multiple projects.

What You’ll Do
⚡️ Architect and maintain our financial ledger
⚡️ Support real-time transaction decisioning logic
⚡️ Design and implement a joint points & rewards system
⚡️ Ensure backend stability & reliability
You Have
⚡ Experience with AWS resources (Lambda, Aurora, and CloudFormation)
⚡ Skilled and fluent in Node.js
⚡ Experience working with SQL and scaling relational databases
⚡️ A strong technical background and grasp of CS fundamentals - you can learn new frameworks, platforms, languages, and understand best practices
Nice to Have
⚡️ Experience using GraphQL
⚡️ Experience working with CDK, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild
⚡️ An understanding of PCI Data Security Standards
