The Job
You will be responsible for :
Providing scalable, efficient, zero-defect code
Working as a part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products.
Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
Investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
The Profile
You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
You have at least 2 years experience within a Software Engineer role.
You possess hands-on experience with Node.js.and related frameworks and libraries such as Express, Strongloop, Async, Lodash, Socket, etc
You have experience with RESTful APIs
Good knowledge of NOSQL Databases (eg. MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch) databases is required
You have worked on microservices architecture with understanding of concepts and design patterns involved.
You have an understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
You have knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
You ideally have knowledge of CICD pipelines and any cloud provider like AWS, GCP or Azure
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
