Backend Developer

We're looking for a Python/Django developer to join our backend team. We're a small, scrappy team, so we expect you to be an active participant in all facets of our product from schema development/architecture to UX/design.

Who we're looking for:

• You are proficient in Python, Django and posses a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals
• You have experience designing APIs
• You understand the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, pub/sub messaging, caching)
• You stay up-to-date on the the latest development technologies and trends
• You have an academic background in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• You have an eagerness to learn and teach
• Bonus points for experience in Machine Learning or building scalable Video Conferencing solutions
• Bonus points if you have experience with React.js, Lamda, and standard AWS (EC2/RDS/etc...)
