We are looking for a Backend developer to join full time at Scribe. Scribe is a Y Combinator-backed, San Francisco based startup, that is aiming to automate the job of a sales development representative.
As a contractor working for Scribe, you get a chance to write some of the original and foundational algorithms to solve a few of the toughest challenges in the world of automation.
Our Vision Of You
Our stack is a JS frontend and a Python-Flask / sqlAlchemy/Postgres backend. Ideally, we’d like you to be highly proficient in backend work and excited to be working on huge databases with millions of rows.
In addition, our ideal engineer will have the following skills:
Ability to adapt to a new code base quickly
Ability to name variables correctly
Ability to write absolutely modular oop code
Experience writing production code with good unit testing modules
Background in machine learning and data analysis (preferred)
Prior experience working on a large company codebase (preferred)
