MicroSec Singapore (www.usec.io) is looking for a driven, passionate, and outgoing Social Media Marketing Executive to work closely with our commercial team in implementing marketing plans and strategies. This person should be naturally very curious, loves technology, and be B2B-minded. This person will manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels (mostly LinkedIn), company blogs, and content management. This person will NOT be expected to write blog articles but will be expected to write short captions for posting, highlighting, and sharing articles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Source, generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, articles, images, video or HTML) that builds connections and encourages community members to take action
· Optimize company pages to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
· Regularly schedule social media posts using applications such as Buffer or Hootsuite
· Update and maintain company blog with new blog articles
· Research and monitor activity of company competitors
· Lead and/or assist the designer with the production of social media content, such as creating images for posting on social media accounts with Canva
· Lead and/or assist the commercial team to identify, organize and share marketing events/programs such as conferences, webinars, podcasts, and trade shows, if any
· Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
SKILLS
· Curious person and likes to read/stay informed about current events, especially relating to technology
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Superior organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
· Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus
· Familiar with copywriting, journalism, and/or writing experience is a plus
· Graphic design, photoshop, illustrator, etc. skills is a plus
REQUIREMENTS
· Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
· Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
· Positive attitude with excellent multitasking and organizational ability
· Fluency in English
· Background in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
· Background in B2B social media marketing is a plus
