Paladin deploys autonomous drones to 911 calls. Our first drone, Knighthawk, arrives on the scene of an emergency in under 90 seconds and gives first responders a live overhead view of the scene before they arrive, helping reduce response times and increase situational awareness. Knighthawk is a fully autonomous LTE drone with unlimited range, a 55 minute battery life, and is responding to over 130 calls each week across several cities. Over the next decade, our tech will be in every city across the world helping first responders save lives.
We’re hiring android developers who want to build products that save lives. Knighthawk can be controlled from anywhere in the world with any internet-connected device, and we are looking to create android applications that can allow for a control of a drone. In general, we will also be updating and creating applications for our integrations with other drones and their SDKs, all in an effort to build the best possible experience for first responders who are using drones to save lives. Experience with Kotlin (or Java, but we are moving our platforms to Kotlin over time) is preferred, and having previous projects where different SDKs were used, and responsibilities included UI/UX.
