We're a startup that specializes in applying the latest advancements in deep learning to the anime and video game industry. Our AI artist assistant helps illustrators and animators finish pieces up to 10x faster, and we're always exploring new areas of AI application in gaming.
As an Audio Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing the development of audio for our games from start to finish. You'll work closely with our talented team of artists, developers, and researchers to ensure that the sound and music in our games are of the highest quality and contribute to the overall gaming experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the audio vision for our games
- Work with our team of sound designers, composers, and engineers to create high-quality sound and music for our games
- Manage the production and delivery of all audio assets for our games
- Ensure that all audio in our games meets our high standards of quality and enhances the overall gaming experience
- Collaborate with game designers, writers, and artists to ensure that the audio is in line with the overall game vision and story
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in game audio and technology, and apply them to our games and products
- Continuously evaluate and improve our audio development processes and workflows
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in game audio
- Strong knowledge of game audio and music production, including sound design, composition, implementation, and mixing
- Experience with audio software and tools such as Pro Tools, Wwise, FMOD, and Unity Audio
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for anime, gaming, and Japanese culture
- Familiarity with game development tools and engines, such as Unity and Unreal Engine
- Experience with implementing audio in mobile games is a plus
