The ideal candidate would be an Application Engineer eager to be part of a growing team, shaping the future of electronics. As an Application Engineer you would be using our tool to develop compelling designs featured in social media and marketing content, as well as advising the development team on how to best improve the tool. Your goal would be to bring new users up to speed in onboarding as quickly as possible, guiding them through the newest features, and ideas of how to leverage JITX in building their most useful design.

As an Application Engineer you would be using JITX to develop compelling designs featured in social media and marketing content, and advise the development team on how to best improve our product. Candidates should have some academic and/or industry experience in writing technical communication such as tutorials and/or application notes. This Application Engineer will be a hybrid role of customer success while also having strong technical writing ability.

Summary of responsibilities
- Customer Facing Demos: Build demos to be featured to prospective customers, showcasing JITX in ways that are practical to their workflow and daily challenges. Assist the team in bug discovery and resolution.
- Application Notes & Tutorial Curation: Identify ways to minimize the use of technical onboarding instructions while enhancing user’s understanding and joy of using JITX product.
- Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with engineers, leaders, and the stakeholders to further nurture the MVP roadmap in prioritization.
- Circuit Board Design: Requiring 2+ years of design experience in circuit board design. Please showcase any projects!
- Education: Degree or multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or combination preferred.
