Firezone is building the open-source remote access platform to secure the next generation of remote workers. Our stack consists of Elixir/Phoenix for the control plane, Rust and eBPF for the data plane, all riding on the speedy WireGuard VPN protocol for transport. Until now we've relied upon the official WireGuard client for Apple, but it's time to build our own. We're looking for a passionate engineer to lead efforts on Firezone's Apple client.
Qualifications
- Previously published apps to the Apple App Store
- Experience working with Packet Tunnel Provider, DNS Proxy Provider, and related network extensions
- Ability to thrive in autonomous, remote-first environments
- Working proficiency with the TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS protocols
