Decacorn Capital (www.decacorn.vc) is currently seeking an Analyst with relevant experience in Private Equity / Venture Capital to join our team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:
• As an Analyst in the Decacorn team, you will be an integral part of the team, working on all aspects of fund activities covering both the buy and sell-side. You will focus on curating high-quality investment opportunities and be involved in due diligence as well as portfolio management.
• Create financial models and support all phases of financial planning, including forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
• Involvement in the full lifecycle of investment-related activities such as sourcing of deals, participating in due diligence, write detailed investment notes, besides preparing for and participating in Investment Committee deliberations, preparing term sheets and manage deal closures, and above all, post-investment life cycle management.
• Assist in portfolio management as needed and in preparing required reporting.
• Hunt for and evaluate potential investment opportunities within targeted industries.
• Create financial models and communicate key variables and risks with the team.
• Build strong working relationships with other team members, operate effectively with minimal oversight, while meeting tight timelines.
• Assist as needed with other assignments and in business development efforts.
What is required :
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, finance, economics from an accredited top-tier university.
• Preferably 1 – 3 years of work experience in technology-centric venture capital funds.
• Experience in a top-tier accounting/audit firm with accounting and/or audit exposure in Private Equity / Venture Capital funds is desirable.
• Hands-on experience creating financial models, including forecasting, reporting, and analytics is required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Sound business judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Self-driven individual with the ability and willingness to work in an unsupervised and unstructured environment. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions. The ability to adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment is critical.
• Must have a strong grip over the written English language as the medium of expression. Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken ) will be of added advantage.
• Candidate must have strong common sense and general awareness of the technology investing world and should have an interest in seeing technology start-ups and participating in related activities including due diligence and deal sourcing.
