About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Unity engineer to own our Unity SDK. Unity is quickly changing across games, AR/VR and media. You will research and implement the evolving ecosystem as well as performance technologies to improve the lives of other developers. Your code will gather and process tens of billions of data points daily from 100M+ devices. What You’ll Do
- Own the overall architecture and performance of our Unity SDK
- Push the envelope by researching and implementing features that help fellow developers
- Adopt the latest Unity features
- Coach and collaborate directly with our amazing customers
- Work with product, Customer Success, and sales to share technology and product decisions
- Implement and improve engineering best practices for a rapidly growing code base that is relied upon by the world’s top mobile companies
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Unity and C#
- Familiar with C/C++, Java, or Objective-C
- Desire to dig into the inner workings of Unity beyond standard game development
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Gathering is integral to our culture for collaboration and connection. We want to ensure that all of our new hires have the ability to travel and meet other team members. We estimate the travel for any given role to be a couple of days every month or two. In order to gather, new hires must be able to meet our COVID vaccination requirement as we continue to help our team limit risk.

- Experience working on an SDK
- Experience working on more than one version of Unity
- High competency and low ego, you have a passion for helping people both inside and outside of your company
- Experience with unit testing, performance optimization, and functional testing methodologies
