As an Account Executive you'll be helping us grow our customer base for our cloud-based project management and procurement software created specifically for real estate owners.
You will be expected to take serious ownership in this role, developing effective strategies for customer outreach and engagement, and helping us define and build out our offering for the hospitality industry.
In this role you'll be on the front lines with us, building Banner from the ground up.
What You’ll be Doing
- Understand the competitive landscape, product value and customer needs so you can effectively position Banner
- Manage the entire sales cycle including prospecting, outreach, qualifying, pitching, and closing business
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in CRM at all times, including activity logs and pipelines
- Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
- Partner with other cross-functional team members on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience as a quota-carrying rep, at an enterprise SaaS company, selling to the lodging / hospitality industry
- Proven experience leading 2-12 month, complex and strategic sales cycles
- A track record of high sales performance
- Excited by uncertainty - As the first hospitality AE hire, you won’t be a cog in a well-oiled machine. Instead, you’ll help build our sales infrastructure and culture from the ground up
- Autonomous in your work and capable of performing daily responsibilities with a results-driven mentality
- Technologically savvy and adept at learning new tools and processes
- Strong knowledge, interest and experience selling into real estate companies preferred
