As the Commercial Account Executive, you will:

  1. Drive adoption of Fivetran’s services at organizations within a specified territory, focusing on signing new accounts amongst your territory. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, alliances, operations, and analytics to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals
  2. Lead in-depth discovery and demonstrate a deep interest in our customers’ data challenges, identify required capabilities and positive business outcomes to drive towards valuable long term customer engagements
  3. Clearly articulate business value created and enhanced through Fivetran’s services to a broad range of audiences from c-level executives to individual contributors, commercial and technical
  4. Plan proactively, forecast accurately, and provide clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing and progressing opportunities

What you bring to the table:

  1. Integrity. If your customers and teammates cannot trust you to Do the Right Thing, you are in the wrong job.
  2. Multiple years of software sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding targets in previous roles and experience within the assigned territory.
  3. Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inform and inspire even skeptical audiences
  4. Extreme organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage sales processes and to hold multiple stakeholders accountable throughout an extended sales cycle
  5. Familiarity with the modern data technology industry and key players, and aptitude to continually learn new technological concepts
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “dynamic” (aka unpredictable) environment, while keeping a level head and accelerating through adversity
  7. Anything else that adds unique value to our already-diverse team and makes you more than an incremental contributor
  8. Previous experience with data integration, database, ETL, or business intelligence technologies is a plus, but not required
