About You

We are seeking a mid-career B2B Account Executive to join the Distro team.

Education and Experience

Must Have

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in B2B SaaS (SMB sales preferred), at least 12 consecutive quarters as an AE;
  • At least four quarters of meeting or exceeding quota in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to handle objections effectively;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar); and
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow within a high-performing team.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and other trades;
  • Experience with outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach); and
  • Previous success in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect, demo, negotiate, and close new business;
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads, ensuring consistent deal flow;
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer pain points and align solutions;
  • Deliver engaging product demos and presentations tailored to SMB clients;
  • Work closely with marketing and BDRs to refine lead qualification and outreach;
  • Work closely with customer success to promote healthy rention metrics;
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and track key sales metrics; and
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas.

Compensation
Base of 130,000 – 150,000, uncapped commission

Location: Palo Alto, CA or Remote

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
