Nash (YC S21) makes it easy for businesses to offer local delivery. We do this by building applications on top of delivery APIs (like Doordash, Uber, and 550+ more fleets) that enable business-specific workflows. By using Nash, businesses (e.g. restaurants, pharmacies, florists, retailers etc.) can meet growing demand for reliable local delivery while providing an exceptional experience to their customers. Delivery is getting commoditized by companies like Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash and Nash is building the application layer on top of the delivery APIs to enable businesses to offer delivery to their customers.

Nash was founded in 2021 by a team from Palantir and MIT and has currently raised from top investors like Y-Combinator to build the world’s best local delivery platform.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be part of a team that is transforming how businesses use delivery. Using a consultative approach, you will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurants and retail businesses in your assigned verticals. By understanding their unique needs, you will develop a customized solution that helps their business thrive. We need your passion and expertise to help us build the Nash brand and further accelerate Nash’s rapid expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Generate list of prospective customers and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  • Conduct demos, customer discovery, and develop a solution that best meets customers’s needs
  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  • Leverage our CRM to manage all sales activities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Nash in the market

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role in Food & Beverage or a relatable industry, preferably in SaaS or E-Commerce
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and team environment
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
  • General technical proficiency with software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insight and knowledge of the on-demand delivery industry
  • Prior experience with startups or at high-growth technology companies
  • Analytical skills utilizing Excel or Google Sheets and building presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or Hubspot CRM
