About Saturn
Saturn is a Series A, Y Combinator-backed startup building the AI-native operating system for the £100B+ financial advice industry. We believe advice will always be human, and we build technology that makes human advisers extraordinary.
Advisers currently lose up to 70% of their time to administration and compliance. Saturn automates this, giving advisers back their most precious resource so they can focus on what they do best: serving clients. We are compliant by design, trusted by 500+ firms and 3,000+ advisers across the UK.
Our engineers are early and founding team members from Cred, Postman, Gojek, and Slice. We are a small team that orbits together, moves with purpose, and holds a high bar.
About the Role
We are laser focused on becoming the indispensable operating system for every advice firm. That means understanding what advisers need before they ask for it, shipping the right things fast, and holding a relentless quality bar on every feature advisers use.
As a Product Manager at Saturn, you own one or more product areas end-to-end. You run discovery with financial advisers, decide what gets built, write specs that engineers can execute independently, and ensure every feature ships at the quality bar our enterprise clients expect. You care as much about why we build something as how it works.
You will work closely with Product Engineers who own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and AI. There is no handoff chain. You define the what and why, they build the whole thing. That means your specs need to be clear, your prioritisation defensible, and your judgment trusted.
Product management at Saturn moves fast. That pace is something we protect deliberately, because we believe the best PMs do their best work when they can see the impact of what they ship.
What You Will Do
- Own the roadmap for your product area end-to-end. Maintain a rolling 3-6 month view. The next 5 initiatives are clearly defined, the next 5 are shaped, beyond that is directional.
- Run independent discovery with financial advisers and paraplanners. Synthesise conversations into patterns, distinguish signal from noise, and translate adviser pain into product direction.
- Write specs that Product Engineers can build from independently. No ambiguity, no hand-waving. You define the what and why with enough clarity that one engineer ships the whole feature.
- Prioritise ruthlessly across features, bugs, and quality. Say no with clear rationale. Defend your roadmap under pressure.
- Own user acceptance testing personally. You are the voice of the adviser and the last line of defence before a feature reaches users. If it is not ready, it does not ship.
- Ensure sales, CS, and compliance are ready before every release. Treat go-to-market as part of done, not an afterthought.
- Define success metrics and track them yourself. Saturn does not have a data team waiting for your requests. You pull your own analytics and measure outcomes, not outputs.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and our embedded domain experts (chartered compliance officers and paraplanners) to build AI-powered experiences that are deeply useful.
- You are close to the product, close to the user, and close to the decision. Your instincts shape what Saturn becomes.
- Uphold our principle of being compliant by design: every feature you ship must meet the bar of the UK's principles-based regulatory environment.
What You Will Need
- 3-5+ years of product management experience at a fast-paced, product-led B2B SaaS company.
- Experience shipping AI-powered products where AI is a core component, not a feature bolted on. You understand the difference between deterministic and probabilistic systems.
- Strong discovery discipline. You do real user research. You have run discovery that changed what got built.
- Sharp prioritisation. You can explain why you said no to something, not just what you said yes to.
- Strong written communication. You produce decision docs and PRDs that reduce meetings rather than create them.
- Technical fluency. You do not hide behind "that's an engineering question." You understand systems well enough to discuss AI architecture trade-offs, know why prompts break, and have productive conversations with engineers.
- Commercial instinct. You connect product decisions to the revenue model and understand what drives retention and expansion in B2B SaaS.
- Self-sufficient with data. You pull your own analytics, define your own metrics, and design experiments without waiting for a data team.
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and is energised by ambiguity and pace.
- Prior fintech, regtech, or regulated industry experience is a strong plus but not required. Understanding of adviser workflows and compliance context is valued.
Our Values
We care deeply about the culture we build. We hire people who are obsessed with doing great work, who seek truth over comfort, who earn trust rather than assume it, and who succeed and fail as one team.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary benchmarked to your experience and the London market.
- Equity / stock options, a genuine stake in Saturn's success.
- On-site in our London office.
- Work on real, hard AI problems at the intersection of fintech, regulation, and LLMs.
- High ownership and fast feedback loops, your work ships and matters from day one.
- A tight-knit, ambitious team that cares deeply about craft, product quality, and each other.
