About the Role

We’re hiring a Design Engineer to join our founding team in building the future of healthcare compliance AI. You’ll work directly with the founders, owning entire product surface our customers touch - from design concept to shipped code.

You'll have founding-team-level ownership over design direction, the design system, and the frontend experience. Own the customer and the product - not just Figma mock-ups. 10× impact vs big tech

What You’ll Do

• Design and ship product features end-to-end (Figma → React/TypeScript → production).
• Translate messy compliance workflows - audit prep, universe scrubbing, regulatory tracking - into elegant product experiences.
• Build and maintain the design system: components, patterns, interaction standards that scale.
• Partner directly with customers - sit in on calls, understand their pain, design from that understanding.
• Own brand and visual identity across product, marketing site, and customer-facing materials.
• Make smart tradeoffs between polish, speed, and shipping.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong across design + frontend code: Figma, React, TypeScript, CSS/Tailwind.
• Portfolio that shows both - design thinking and what actually shipped to production.
• Hunger: High agency, a willingness to learn, and a drive to do whatever it takes.
• Customer-obsessed: Confusing UX keeps you awake at night.
• Comfortable with complexity: You've designed for data-heavy B2B workflows, multi-step processes, or enterprise users - not just consumer apps.
• Intellectually humble: Low ego, high curiosity, collaborative.
• Biased toward action: You ship, you don't wait for a spec.
