Software Engineer (Product)
Conduit is the operating system for shipping and receiving, bringing enterprise-grade operational control to the vast majority of warehouses legacy systems weren’t built for. We orchestrate tasks across docks, gates, and yards with connected workflows and a unified data layer that closes the gap between WMS/TMS and the physical dock — delivering real-time visibility, accountability, and automation so sites can improve throughput and reduce loss.
We started as a dock scheduler and management tool and have expanded into a platform that orchestrates work across every dock and site. We’re focused on operators who run multi-site warehouse networks and need enterprise capability without enterprise overhead, providing consistency without forced uniformity. Each Conduit solution delivers standalone value — together they replace silos with connected workflows and a single source of truth.
We recently closed a $6M Seed, have zero churn, and hit 172% NRR this year. We’re focused on scaling our product broadly while continuing to solve real operational problems for warehouse operators. Our team brings deep technical and logistics expertise; we’re building an enduring company that transforms operations across the warehousing industry.
What we're looking for
As a product-minded Software Engineer you’ll play a critical role in growing the company and our product. Your core job is to build great product features, but you’ll also work directly with customers and occasionally support go-to-market and customer success — a chance to learn the domain deeply while shipping work that delivers immediate operational value. You’ll work closely with the CEO and CTO and help define how warehouses run.
Expectations
As a product-minded Software Engineer, you will …
-
Lead development of features across the stack, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and impactful.
-
Take projects from initial insight to launch by validating problems, defining solutions, and delivering a polished user experience.
-
Use your judgement to make product decisions without needing layers of approval.
-
Collaborate with design, or often design UI/UX yourself when speed matters.
-
Make sound technical decisions that balance the delivery of today’s features with building a foundation for tomorrow’s.
-
Contribute to a development experience and infrastructure that accelerates product delivery as we grow.
-
Play a pivotal role in establishing the company’s product direction, culture, and processes.
-
Occasionally travel to customer sites.
You’ll be trusted with real responsibility early, and we’ll support you every step of the way!
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco. We are typically in the office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but are generally flexible.
Qualifications
You will thrive here if you...
-
Ideally have 6+ years of full stack experience. With a baseline level of comfort with web development, experience with our tech stack (Python, Django, Svelte, Postgres) is not a requirement; in fact, you will have a major voice in choosing new technologies.
-
Are driven by curiosity and a desire to learn. You aren’t expected to start out an expert on anything, but you should aspire to develop that expertise as the situation requires.
-
Are persistent in driving through blockers and towards solutions.
-
Make confident trade-offs in low-leverage decisions, but also have a keen eye for identifying high-leverage inflection points.
-
Exercise empathy with our customers and their partners to understand their pain points.
-
Are adaptive to changes and learnings.
-
Have logistics and startup experience - a plus, but not a requirement
Benefits
-
Significant Equity in a company with great growth potential
-
Flexible and Friendly PTO
-
Employee coverage for Medical, Dental, and Vision
-
401(k)
